Khartoum, April 16 (SUNA) - The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, -Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, has received on Saturday a written message from Eritrean President, Isaias Afwerki, dealing with the brotherly relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them further in all fields.
The message was handed to him at the Republican Palace by the visiting Eritrean Foreign Minister, Osman Salih Mohamed, who was accompanied by the Advisor of the Eritrean President, Yemani Gabarab, in the presence of the acting Foreign Minister, Ambassador Ali Al-Saddiq.
The delegation conveyed to Gen. Al-Burhan the greetings of the Eritrean President and his wishes for progress, development and stability in Sudan.
The Eritrean delegation is holding a vision aimed at bringing together the views between the Sudanese parties to resolve the political crisis in the country, based on Eritrea's keenness and desire for prevalence of security and stability in Sudan and in the countries of the region.
The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council has affirmed the specialty of the Sudanese - Eritrean relations, and praised Eritrea's supportive stances for Sudan and its issues at regional and international forums, pointing to the distinguished relations linking the two brotherly peoples.
